Do construction workers need FR clothing? It depends on the hazard — not every construction site requires FR. Sites with electrical work, welding, cutting, or fuel handling typically trigger FR requirements under NFPA 70E or OSHA standards. If your site has an arc flash hazard analysis or a hot work program, FR clothing is likely required for the affected workers.
What CAT rating do I need for construction electrical work? Most construction electrical environments require CAT 2 as a minimum.
