Industrial Laundry Compatibility — program garments go through commercial laundering that destroys standard FR cotton over time. Two fabric solutions built for industrial laundry programs:
Westex® UltraSoft® 88/12 (88% cotton, 12% high tenacity nylon, made in the USA) — the most widely specified industrial laundry fabric in North America. Available in FR uniform shirts, pants, coveralls, and lab coats across the Rasco line. The 12% nylon adds durability and abrasion resistance that survives repeated commercial washing without breakdown. FR protection guaranteed for the life of the garment.
GlenGuard® Inherent Aramid (74% Meta-Aramid, 20% FR Modacrylic, 5% Para-Aramid, 1% Anti-Stat, made in the USA) — the premium specification for programs that require inherent FR protection. The protection is in the fiber — it cannot wash out, wear out, or degrade regardless of laundering frequency or method. Available in uniform shirts, pants, coveralls, lab coats, and food processing shirts. The specification choice for petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and aerospace programs.

Women's FR Workwear — most FR programs fail their female workforce by offering men's garments in smaller sizes. Hi-Vis Dual Compliance — for programs that require both arc flash and ANSI/ISEA 107 visibility compliance. Our FR garments with built-in reflective trim eliminate the need for non-FR hi-vis vests layered over FR shirts — one garment, two compliance requirements, no layering questions. CAT Rating Coverage — Rasco covers every CAT level required by NFPA 70E:

Does Rasco provide documentation for compliance files? Yes — complete technical documentation including arc ratings (ATPV), test standards, certification numbers, and fabric specs is available at our Technical Information page. UL certification documentation for NFPA 2112 is available on request.
Can Rasco supply a mixed-gender workforce? Yes — Rasco carries women's-specific FR garments in the same styles, certifications, and CAT ratings as the men's line. Women's shirts, pants, jeans, and hi-vis are available in sizes S–6XL and women's sizes 0–24, in four inseam lengths. The most complete women's FR program available from any manufacturer.
Does Rasco supply Canadian programs? Yes. Rasco operates a Canadian entity with a dedicated Canadian warehouse. Garments with CSA Z462 and CGSB 155.20 certification are clearly labeled and available for Canadian programs. Contact us for Canadian program pricing and availability.
What's the difference between NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 compliance? NFPA 70E governs arc flash protection from electrical equipment. NFPA 2112 governs flash fire protection from hydrocarbon and chemical flash fires. Most programs in electrical, oil and gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing environments require compliance with both. All garments in Rasco's permanent line carry NFPA 2112 certified by UL and meet NFPA 70E.
Does Rasco offer industrial laundry compatible garments? Yes — our Westex® UltraSoft® 88/12 and GlenGuard® inherent aramid garments are specifically rated for industrial laundering. Standard FR cotton garments are home washable and may not meet industrial laundry program specifications. Program buyers should specify 88/12 or GlenGuard for industrial laundry programs.
Can we get the same garments in multiple colors for a color-coded safety program? Yes — several Rasco styles are available in three or more colors. FR Uniform Shirts are available in Navy, Gray, Khaki, and Work Blue. FR Coveralls are available in Navy, Gray, and Khaki. GlenGuard coveralls are available in five colors.
