Most FR uniform shirts for women are men's shirts in smaller sizes — boxy through the shoulders, shapeless at the waist, too long in the torso. This one is cut differently: a tapered body design that actually fits through the waist, with proportioned shoulders and sleeve length built for a women's fit. It's the difference between wearing a uniform and wearing your uniform.
Built from Westex® UltraSoft® 88/12 — 88% cotton, 12% nylon, made in the USA — the premium FR fabric that industrial laundry programs specify for its durability, softness, and longevity. The 12% nylon adds abrasion resistance and durability over pure cotton, and the fabric is engineered to survive hundreds of wash cycles with FR protection guaranteed for the life of the garment.
With an 8.7 cal/cm² arc rating (ATPV), CAT 2 — NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, and NFPA 2112 certified by UL, plus CSA Z462 and CGSB 155.20 for Canadian jobsites — it meets every standard FR programs require.
