GlenGuard® is the premium inherent FR fabric trusted in the most demanding industrial programs — and this coverall is built from it: 5.3 oz GlenGuard® twill, made in the USA, in a 74% Meta-Aramid / 20% FR Modacrylic / 5% Para-Aramid / 1% Anti-Stat blend. The protection is in the fiber — inherent FR can't wash out, wear out, or degrade, and this fabric is rated for industrial laundering as well as home wash.
With a 9.5 cal/cm² arc rating (ATPV) — CAT 2 — ASTM F1506, NFPA 2112 certified by UL, NFPA 70E, and CGSB 155.20 — it meets every standard FR programs require.
The 12" leg zippers are what make this coverall different. Most FR coveralls require you to remove your boots to get in and out. These don't — the leg zippers let you step in and zip up over your boots, so you're not sitting on a tailgate in a parking lot taking off your steel toes before every shift. On a long day in a coverall, that's not a small thing.
The 2-way FR taped brass concealed zipper opens from the bottom for driving, bending, or working a harness. Mic tabs on the right chest keep your radio where it belongs.
