Built from Westex® UltraSoft® 88/12 — the same industrial-laundry-rated fabric as our FR uniform shirts — with an 8.7 cal/cm² arc rating (ATPV), CAT 2 — NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506, NFPA 2112 fabric compliant. The elastic is FR-rated fabric so there's no non-compliant material against your face. Wire framing under the top edge shapes the mask and reduces fogging for workers wearing safety glasses underneath.
The Hi Vis Orange version is worth noting: an FR face mask in hi-vis orange is genuinely hard to find, and for workers on road crews or any site with visibility requirements, it's the piece that completes the FR hi-vis system head to face.
