The Rasco FR Heavy Bib Overall carries a 42 cal/cm² arc rating (ATPV) — CAT 4 — the highest protection level in our entire line, and one of the highest-rated FR bibs available anywhere. When the job requires CAT 3 or CAT 4 and the temperature drops to the kind of cold that turns regular work into a survival exercise, this is what you wear.
Three layers of FR protection, top to bottom: 10 oz Flameshield® 100% cotton duck shell, 5.7 oz FR modacrylic insulation, and a 7.5 oz FR Flameshield® cotton twill lining — every layer FR, all the way through. Not just the shell. Not just the outer layer. All three.
The ankle-to-knee covered brass leg zippers mean you can get this on and off over your work boots without removing them — which matters when it's cold enough to need arctic insulation and you'd rather not spend ten minutes struggling in the parking lot.
